We were approached by Stothers M&E and URS to assist them in comprehensively illuminating the replacement Lagan Weir footbridge in Belfast.
The project included:
Over 140 of our bespoke continuous linear LED units - in RGBW spec, totalling over 500 meters. This is installed as a continous length inside the handrail and to the underside of the bridge. Every 7 meter section is independently controllable.
31 in-ground frosted glass & stainless steel LED spots de-marking the centre of the footpath. They are individually controllable and full colour RGBW.
24 individually controllable glass and stainless steel RGB LED spot lights to the underside of the bridge illuminating the piers and the water below.
47 custom made high powered linear LEDs mounted vertically between the handrail stanchions. RGB and individually controllable.
24 high powered RGBW LED wall washers installed behind the frosted glass on the pier houses. Individually controllable.
Over 40 metres of custom linear LED bench lighting installed inside the glass and timber benches - each bench is individually controllable and RGBW.
All control gear and driver units were pre-assembled by us in our factory for ease of install on site.
The DMX control is based around a rack-mounted server and DMX distribution system with remote access capability for both the client and Neon Circus.
